Team Building
Why Jefferson Memorial Forest Teambuilding Programs are effective?
Our teambuilding programs are hit with both the students and teachers for several reasons:
- Optimal Ratios: We facilitate our programs with 1:12 Staff/student group ratios; giving your students the attention needed to have a safe and engaging outdoor experience.
- Innovation: JMF staff regularly attend trainings and conferences to learn the best methods of facilitation.
- Focus on Reflection: Our staff emphasize the importance of the lessons through group conversation and how to apply them to school, work, or personal life.
Our Courses
Low Team Course
Our low course consists of 14 different obstacles that challenge your group mentally and physically. Each obstacle fills a need to focus on a particular aspect of teamwork. The overall design of the teams course is beneficial to the quality and success of our teambuilding programs and provides options to create challenges appropriate for different ages and ability levels of participants.
Elevated Team Course
Coming in fall 2022, JMF will be adding a series of elevated tree platforms to expand teambuilding experiences. Groups will be tasked with helping from above and below to solve wire crossings and climbing elements together. This newly added course will also serve as an introduction to tree canopy zip courses!
Remote Team Building
If needed, JMF staff can come to your school or organization and facilitate teambuilding using portable activities! Call our program office to schedule a remote session at (502) 366-5432.
