This gateway to Jefferson Memorial Forest is located in the village of Fairdale. Its amenities include a memorial flag courtyard that honors those who have served in all branches of the armed forces and a bandstand shelter that faces a terraced seating area.

Its small, outdoor amphitheater acts as a gathering space in Fairdale and will be a place where where musical events will be held throughout the year.

Fairdale Village Green is conveniently located within walking distance of businesses, restaurants, and public facilities. It is planned to the location of a future trailhead for the Louisville Loop and serve as  connection between Fairdale, Jefferson Memorial Forest, and points east and west.
